Advertising
Advertising has been with us as long as anyone can remember. You’ve got two options here basically, Paid, versus ‘Free’ advertising. Both will cost you in one way or another to be honest.
‘Paid’ advertising, will obviously cost you in money… but ‘free’, will cost you in terms of time. Let’s have a closer look…
1. Paid Advertising vs. Organic Marketing: The Pros and Cons
There are two main types of marketing: paid advertising and organic marketing. Both have their own pros and cons that businesses should consider before deciding which is right for them.
Paid advertising is a form of marketing where businesses pay to have their ads placed on platforms like Google, Facebook, Bing, or other websites.
The main pro of paid advertising is that it can be very effective in reaching a large number of people quickly. The main con of paid advertising is that it can be expensive, and there’s no guarantee that people will actually click on the ad.
Paid advertising is also extremely effective when it comes down to research. You can find out almost instantly, well, within hours anyway, if your content, product, or even website has interest.
Organic Marketing
Organic marketing is a form of marketing that focuses on creating content that is relevant and interesting to its target audience. The main pro of organic marketing is that it is very cost-effective. The main con of organic marketing is that it can take longer to see results.
So, which is better for your business: paid advertising or organic marketing? It really depends on your business goals and budget. If you have the money to invest in paid advertising and you need to reach a lot of people quickly, then paid advertising may be the way to go. If you’re on a tight budget and you’re willing to wait a bit longer to see results, then organic marketing may be the better option.
Paid vs Organic Traffic Tip
Tip: Why not use Paid Advertising to quickly find out where there is an interest in your product, and then, when you find out where the interest lies, then use organic methods of promotion. Such as, on your website.
Find out quickly (with paid promotions) where the interest lies, and THEN start building on it using Organic methods.
